Challenge:
According to the World health organization
"1.1 billion teenagers and young adults are at risk of hearing loss due to the unsafe use of personal audio devices, including smartphones, and exposure to damaging levels of sound at noisy entertainment venues".
How can we make music listening more safe ?


Solution:
Doing a deep div research on Music frequencies
  and how affect the human hearing and doing comparative analysis with the best App features in the market I created OTO.
This music-safe-listening recommendation system prevent you from Noise induce hearing loss, while still enjoying and discovering new music.


Main features:

  • Access to real-life informative data regarding your music habits.

  • Music recommendation system depending on consumed sound frequencies.

  • The music genre and sound frequency consumption history data visualization.

Through a music color assignation you're able to see the amount of music genre you've been listening in hours, days, and weeks.

VITAPRO: 
Innovating the shrimp farming in Ecuador by Automating process

Challenge:
Vitapro is one of the biggest companies of shrimp food in Ecuador owned by Alicorp.
The company wanted improve the service towards their client. 

 

Solution:
The Ux research team went to 2 cities in Ecuador to understand the shrimp farming process and hear from first- hand the clients their pain-points. Along the exploratory field research team I :

 

  • Interviewed 15 clients different type of shrimp farmers.
    The outcome was classify them into 5 user personas with their own Costumer journey map.

 

  • Interviewed and shadowing 8 Vitapro technicians.
    The outcome was to map their respective customer journey map and process journey.
     

Result:
We created Genia, an app connected to IoT technology that could harvest vital information from the shrimp pools to help shrimp farmers to make a better decision making for their farming business. This solution gives:

  • Users real-time access to key farming data.

  • Supporting more informed business decisions 

  • Addressing a major need for digitalization in the industry.

  • Reduced paperwork and automated processes for shrimp farmers and technicians.

Challenge:
During COVID-19,  small market owners (bodegueros) had to receive products from multiple suppliers, increasing their risk of exposure.

Solution:
Alicorp launched a new minimarket brand, Katu (now Diadia), designed to help store owners improve their businesses and streamline product access through an 24/7 e-commerce platform.

With the UX team, my role was to uncover deep insights into the users business challenges and real needs during the pandemic:
 

  • I conducted 20 in-depth interviews with bodegueros

  • Applied continuous Remote user testing

  • I performed 10 field research interviews
     to fully understand their struggles in that difficult context.

  • We identified improvements for the
    e-commerce app to make their buying process fast and easier.
